Dr John Irvine is well-known by many, and he has a new book coming out this month called 80 Stories High, and it is being launched on the 28th of July at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall at 2.30 pm.




Dr John Irvine is a renowned paediatric psychologist, one of the most seen, heard and read. He has been connected with Pearl Beach for a long time, and now, he gets to launch his book at the Pearl Beach Memorial Hall on the Central Coast in July.

John’s new book is said to be a reassuring collection of stories about ordinary people - kids, colleagues, parents, grandparents and celebrities who have achieved extraordinary outcomes for loved ones using humour, humility, kindness, forgiveness, resilience, faith and hope. These stories are light, bright and reassuring, making them easy to read, and John hopes everyone enjoys reading them – all 80 stories in this book that acknowledge 80 wonderful years.

You can purchase the book here or at the event for $34.99, and all proceeds will be donated to the Dementia Association. During the event, you can enjoy guest performances by piano students from the Central Coast Conservatorium.
