The Funhaus Factory is filled with events for all ages, and all year round! Every month, they host The Welcome Choir . The Welcome Choir is a drop-in choir, with no auditions, and you don’t even need to read music. When you come with your family, your best friend or even the local postie, you will be taught by professional singers and musicians.

Because everything they teach is taught by ear, you just need to show up, sing and have fun. This is a safe and welcoming group for all ages, all genders and all singing abilities. It’s just focused on having fun with pop songs from every decade. And a great way to make friends and express yourself in authentic ways. It’s for everyone, whether you sing karaoke, sing in the shower or sing professionally.

What makes this work is the way it is run. Each session starts with fun vocal warmups with Bek Jensen. Then, you delve into the songs and start to have fun! It costs $20 and runs for several hours – check the individual sessions for more information.

Each month features a different song, and October’s song is 'Sweet Dreams' by the Eurythmics. Enjoy $15 cocktail hour from 5pm until 6pm as well. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Remember to register to attend! Door tickets are also available, but as always, keep an eye on the website for more details .
