Get ready to Gather and Groove as part of the Lakes Festival in November. As The Lakes Festival comes to life again from the 8th to the 17th of November 2024, a magical event will emerge at the Woy Woy waterfront on the 16th. Come on down to see a Mystical Wonderland in a fantastic celebration of the coastal waterways that make the Central Coast what it is.

To get in on this action, head over to Lions Park from 3pm until 10pm and catch an incredible line-up of local bands full of energy and an exciting number of interactive activities and immersive arts. Come and see the Crud Muffin art tent, where you can take part in a collaborative art project. There will be lots of arts and crafts for adults and children as well, so nobody will miss out on an epic chance to get their creative juices flowing.

Not only that, but you can also check out the Roundabout Circus play space as well as flow arts, cool LED hoops, and awesome roving characters who will bring the afternoon and evening to life. At 5pm, look up at the skies for an aerial performance, and enjoy live music from 6pm.

Come and groove with all sorts of fantasy creatures from mermaids to pirate fairies and an array of magical sea creatures. Dance along to the funky beats of local bands, or get your face painted by a jellyfish whilst marvelling at awe-inspiring aerial performances. While you’re at this fun afternoon, you will learn about the local environment in fabulous pop-up education tents. Come and get valuable insights and find out what steps you can take to help preserve the waterways of the Central Coast.

So, gather, groove, and dress up to get amongst the whimsy and wonder as you learn new skills and become part of the watery world and community as part of the fabulous ten-day Lakes Festival this year.
