The project's name refers to how paint spreads across the canvas as it is tilted in one direction and then another, carrying the swirling colors from edge to edge while preserving the primary pattern. The dream is the vision that the artist visualizes when they prepare the various paints, which is a contemplative, meditative experience in and of itself. Thus, the name "Flowing Dreams."
