Put on your skates and join us for a rollicking good time.
Speers Point Park's Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima (MAP mima). Enjoy the art and a local wine or beer in our outside licensed area with a food truck vendor, and join us on the promenade for a wheely-good time with the 80's Skaties and Newcastle Roller Derby League.
Enjoy skateboarding and the 1980s? Head out to Speers Point Park from 6-8.30pm and check out 80's Skaties. The polished concrete makes it ideal for smooth skating, making it ideal for both beginners and expert skaters. It's free family-friendly entertainment for all ages, and we're also wheelchair accessible, so come give it a try. Skating is done in the dark. Skaters skate fully at their own risk. PPE is strongly advised.
