Determined to reclaim what's missing, she embarks on a soul-searching journey with her faithful dog as her companion, traversing the rugged landscapes of the Australian Outback. As Mot navigates through the heart of the Outback, encountering challenges like fire, flood, and desolation, she is accompanied by original music performed by the acclaimed alt-country duo Smith & Jones. This production, presented by Bathurst-based Lingua Franca and featuring Kate Smith's commanding performance, offers a unique blend of gritty realism and magical allegory, inviting audiences to contemplate the depths of their own hearts and the lengths they would go to find them. Supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW, is a poignant exploration of loss, resilience, and the enduring quest for emotional fulfillment.
