The Lakes Festival is back for 2025, and it is in its tenth year. Just like past years, there are going to be many events across the Central Coast celebrating the area and its waterways. One of these fantastic events takes place at the Marine Discovery Centre in Terrigal’s Rotary Park. This is a FREE day, that runs from 9am until 3pm on the 9th of November.

Bring your family to a free, ocean-themed day that will delight everyone. Come and explore the Marine Discovery Centre, take a free guided tour. These run every half an hour, and you will need to book to secure your spot. Whilst there, you can join hands-on kids workshops, which will be led by expert marine educators. Or get your face painted, take part in marine-themed crafts, story time, sensory play, as well as a scavenger hunt, a disco and much more!

Plus, there will also be market stalls, live entertainment, as well as community information stands and great food from Parklife Coffee, so there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
