On Monday 29 September 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Gosford Regional Library there is an interactive and practical workshop for children that takes a closer look at native bees. The session covers their behaviour, their role in pollination and why they matter to the environment, with activities designed for curious young minds rather than for aspiring apiarists.
Kids will come away with a better understanding of biodiversity and conservation and a few amusing bee facts to surprise the grown ups at home. The cost is $8.00.
