The contemporary dance performance, SILENCE, focuses on the unheard conversations and muted responses that occur in the space in between. With a minimalist set and evocative lighting, seven performers explore past, present, and alternate realities, and dreamscapes through complex musical scores and dynamic live percussion. The performance culminates with the entire stage being engulfed in the dirt, representing the call for the return of Indigenous lands. SILENCE aims to break the silence and shed light on these important issues.
