The , which takes place in the CBD from 29 January to 13 February, is the focal point of the festivities. A recurring favorite, Lunar Lanes brings live entertainment, roaming performers, market stalls, food trucks, DJs, and lots of Insta-worthy moments to Haymarket's streets. On Saturday, January 29, the fun begins at 5 p.m. and admission is free.
Eight "Tigers" were made and dropped this year as part of Lunar Lanterns at four locations: George Street in front of The Galeries; George Street in front of Event Cinema; the intersection of Liverpool and George Street; and Little Hay Street in Chinatown.
