The Hayes Theatre Co, in cahoots with The Art House, is bringing a fresh and cheeky twist to Gilbert & Sullivan's classic, , also known as The Slave of Duty. This adaptation by Richard Carroll is part of the Summer @ The Art House lineup, and let me tell you, it's a zesty reinterpretation that gives a nod to the original while delivering some modern flair. Under the watchful eyes of artistic directors Richard Carroll and Victoria Falconer, this lively show features a delightful cast of just five very talented performers. You'll see all your favourite characters, like the dashing Pirate King and the not-so-bright Ruth, come to life in ways you never thought possible, all while you chuckle at the antics of Frederic, Mabel, and the totally bonkers Major-General.

Get ready for some proper fun as this adventurous lot takes you on a whimsical journey filled with irreverent humour and high-energy staging. The intimacy of limited seating onstage means you might be in the thick of the action, which could be just the thrill you never knew you needed.
