An autobiographical musical written by Jonathan Larson, the acclaimed composer behind the hit musical RENT. The story revolves around Jon, a struggling composer who is desperate to achieve success in the theater world before he turns 30. While working as a waiter and facing pressure from his girlfriend and best friend, Jon questions whether he should continue pursuing his dreams or give up. The musical offers a personal glimpse into the life of an artist and explores Jon's journey to define success on his own terms. With a small cast of three actors and a live onstage band, tick, tick... BOOM! was adapted into an award-winning 2021 Netflix film by Lin-Manuel Miranda, known for his work on Hamilton. Following their successful production of Into the Woods in 2022, Curtain Bounce is excited to bring Tick, Tick... BOOM! to the Art House.
