If you’re a crafty person or have a crafty child looking for something fun to do during July, then look no further than the Centred Ceramics in Umina. On the 6th of July, Centred Ceramics is running a four-hour long workshop for those who are new to pottery, or for anyone who wants a refresher. From 9 am until 1 pm, attendees will learn the basics of the wheel-throwing process:


Centred Ceramics will supply all the clay, and by the end of the workshop, you should be able to pick one or two of your pieces to be trimmed, glazed, and fired – and then you can pick it up six to nine weeks later. And Centred Ceramics will also supply morning tea – a fruit platter, crackers and the drink of your choice.

Centred Ceramics recommends that this workshop is only appropriate for children over the age of twelve, and if you have any questions, you can contact them. Centred Ceramics advises that if you cancel within three days, you will not get a refund.
