Local children's author Katrina McKelvey is hosting a creative writing workshop for kids aged 8-12 years, offering an engaging session filled with fun word games and writing exercises. Participants will learn about alliteration, onomatopoeia, and other literary techniques as they develop their writing skills. The workshop, which features new exercises for those who have attended previous sessions, encourages children to bring their imagination and energy to explore and play with language. An adult must stay on-site during the workshop.
