On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the Kariong Library is offering a chance for junior filmmakers to try their hand at the Inquisitive Minds Stop Motion Studio. From 10:30 AM until midday, it is all about bringing inanimate objects to life, frame by painstaking frame. Think less blockbuster, more brilliant miniature masterpiece made by tiny hands.

This hands on workshop is designed for kids who have a tale to tell but prefer to do it with plasticine and a camera rather than just words. It is a bit of art, a bit of tech, and a whole lot of moving things around ever so slightly to create movie magic. Perfect for any young'uns who reckon their toy collection deserves its own dramatic narrative.
