On Wednesday 17 June 2026 families can drop into Gosford Regional Gallery to have a go at hands on art activities and wander through the exhibitions. It is a relaxed space where curiosity beats perfection and there is enough visual interest to distract both tiny tots and the slightly baffled grown ups.

Workshops for kids often run on the day, and you can stroll an outdoor sculpture walk with views over the Brisbane Water foreshore. Come prepared for a bit of mess, bring sensible shoes for the foreshore, and accept that glitter may become part of your life for the foreseeable future.
