Do you love music, food, wine and lighthouses? If so, head to
Norah Head on the Central Coast for the annual
Lighthouse Festival . The festival of food, wine, and music is back for 2024 on the 9th of November at the iconic
Norah Head Lighthouse .
This is a one-day event that celebrates music, food and wine on the grounds of the beautiful and historic Norah Head Lighthouse. There will be amazing artists performing at this iconic location as well. Keep an eye on updates through the website, above links and social media for updates about the musical guests attending, and any other information in case there are last-minute changes to the lineup or any aspect of the event.
There are some things to keep in mind for the day once you have bought your ticket at the above links. Remember that there are no refunds, and the event is an all-weather event – so come prepared for any weather event – rain, hail or shine.
You can enter and leave the event by the front gate at Norah Head Lighthouse, and this is an 18+ event only -you will need ID or be over eighteen to gain entry to the site, and you can bring your own food as well, but leave the big bags, eskies, and picnic baskets at home. As a licensed event, alcohol will be provided – and patrons are asked to leave alcohol at home and to refrain from taking it away from the event, and RSA guidelines will be followed to make sure everyone is safe with a zero-tolerance policy for intoxication – for everyone’s safety. See the
website for more details.
Everyone attending will also receive a wristband when you arrive, and it is something that must be worn at all times during the event. As this is an outdoor event, it would be a good idea to wear comfortable clothing and dress for changing weather and weather conditions as the event will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
No need to worry about public transport – there is plenty of parking near the entry to the event site near Bush Street Reserve and Norah Head Boat Ramp, and event organisers advise that the easiest way to get to the event is to be driven or to drive. Keep in mind that getting to the lighthouse will be an 800 metre walk up Bush Street to the main entrance which will take about ten minutes, and there will be a shuttle bus for those unable to walk the distance. If you are getting transport, check
Transport for NSW for options to and from Wyong.
