There’s so much on offer during this year’s Coastal Twist Festival for all ages. On the 2nd of October, there is a multi-art showcase and celebration for twelve- to twenty-four-year-olds called Loud Mouth: Youth Variety Show . This fantastically inclusive and youth-oriented event features all manner of artistic performances – video, performance art, drag, dance, live music and much more. If you can name it, then it is likely to be there.

This is a fabulous event for all ages – the entire family can come along. The organisers want to see mums, dads, carers, cousins, grandparents, your best friend, and your siblings in a unified and inclusive event where we all cheer on the diverse youth of the Central Coast.

And guess what? If you want to perform, there are a few requirements. You need to be aged between twelve and twenty-four, and identify as one or more of the following:

Use your imagination to conjure up something amazing! Registration for this event gets you into the audience, and performers can register their interest here .

Because this is a youth event, there will be safety measures in place.


Doors open at 5pm for 6pm, and there will be refreshments available to purchase on the night. Under sixteen-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult, and if you’re under 18, you get in for free but must be registered to attend. So head on over to the Funhaus Factory in Donnison Street to enjoy this fun night.

There is a $10 - $18 cost for over-18 attendees.
