Love Club Cabaret is the Crown Jewel of the Coastal Twist Festival, and it is back for 2025. In 2025, Love Cabaret is back and it's bolder and dripping in even more glamour for its fabulous new performance party. So, what is Love Club Cabaret?

Well, it's a high-voltage, heart-thumping celebration of queer brilliance, connection and joy. When you come to Love Club Cabaret on the 3rd of October this year, you can expect an explosive kaleidoscope of colourful live performances. You will be entertained by Australia's most vibrant and electric LGBTQIA+ artists from the stage, the screen and clubland royalty. They will bring healing stories. Stories that shake. Stories that shimmy, shimmer and shine. Come for the theatre, have a dance with the divine and join a rebellion.

You can be flying solo, in a couple, with your friends, or just filled with curiosity. This night, this fantastic Friday night, is the night for you to step into your power. Meet people you can get along with and take joy in the technicolour glory of queer culture.

Theses three things:
  • A full-bodied experience.
  • A gathering of icons.
  • A celebration of community, courage and creativity.

  • Is there a dress code? Of course! It 's Reflect the Love Fantasy. Imagine what Big Glamour and unapologetic shine would be for you. It's sequins, metallics, holographic things, and if it sparkles, it belongs. So be loud, be proud and be ready to fall into a night of love, lights, and limitless expression.

Love Club Cabaret is hosted by Sexy Galexy and Frock Hudson, who will be your guides through a multigenerational, multi-artform queer extravaganza, and will feature:

  • Rhys Lightning - Electrifying dancer igniting stages with wit, fire, and brilliance
  • Fetu Taku - Dynamic choreographer and performer blending dance and storytelling
  • GoGo Bum Hole - Chaotic drag gremlin delighting audiences with mischief and flair
  • Tyra Bankstown - Mangarayi Queen, indigenous queer advocate spreading love, compassion, and joy
  • Jiggy
  • Choking Hazard
  • Nancy Denis - Bold multidisciplinary artist blending music, theatre, spoken word, live, visual.
  • Missy & J
  • Shauna Jensen

  • The doors open at 5pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm. This is a ticketed event, and the tickets cost $30-$35 for over 18s in a fully accessible venue at the Funhaus Factory.
