Fun and education go together at the Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre at Terrigal Rotary Park in Terrigal. On the 15th of November from 4pm until 9pm, the Marine Discovery Centre is hosting a wonderful evening of whimsy and wonder with fun, education and creative arts amidst an outdoor cinema called Marine Magic Outdoor Cinema . This exciting event has been curated and designed by the Discovery Centre to educate and celebrate the waters of the Central Coast.

Head on over to the Rotary Park next to the Marine Discovery Centre and Parklife Café to take part in an unforgettable experience. You will get to imagine a giant wooden pirate ship, or a grassy field that sprawls across the landscape and wanders through exquisite and colourful atmospheres, all whilst enjoying the film as it plays out on the big screen.

But there’s more than just the movie to engage with. You can enjoy a range of hands-on activities with a water theme, create art with the Crud Muffins, or play with Roundabout Circus. There’s also face painting – and adults and kids can get in on this action, all while you meet the amazing marine scientists at the Marine Discovery Centre and in the Education tents. Come along, and dress up as your favourite sea creature, or enjoy the wandering characters and artists from watery worlds during your time at this event. Or you can simply enjoy an evening of whimsy and wonder under the sea.

This event will have fantastic local performances and storytelling sessions that will ignite a spark of curiosity and creativity. You won’t want to miss the chance to explore the interactive exhibits of the Marine Discovery Centre and explore rock pools and go on treasure hunts as you explore the magical marine world of the Central Coast.
