Join Opera Bites Co-Founder Murray Dahm for a 10-week journey into the world of Giuseppe Verdi (1813–1901) - one of history's most beloved and influential opera composers.

Since 2003, Murray has been delivering accessible, friendly and informative opera lectures that bring together history, culture and music. Whether you're a seasoned opera lover or completely new to the art form, this series offers a relaxed and welcoming way to deepen your appreciation of opera.

What to Expect

Over ten weekly sessions, you’ll:
• Explore Verdi's greatest operas, including Nabucco, La traviata, Rigoletto, Aida, Otello and more
• Discover the stories, characters and universal themes of love, struggle and passion that have captivated audiences for generations
• Learn about Verdi's life, his late start as a composer, and how he forged his own path outside traditional institutions
• Enjoy rich audio and visual excerpts from historic and modern recordings
