If you’re into poetry, then there is a fabulous poetry event as part of Coastal Twist. Enter Pride Poetry , an open mic night aimed at poets aged sixteen and over from 6pm until 9pm on the 2nd of October. This free event welcomes the extended rainbow network to enjoy poetry at Link and Pin whilst at this year’s Coastal Twist Festival.

This open mic night is being hosted by EJ and Liz – Space Whale, and is a wholesome community gathering for poetry-loving people to share together.

So, how will this take place?

Open Mic – anyone can get up and read poetry, a story, or a song.

Original or published poet

Two sessions of reading with a short beak, with the event finishing between 8.30pm and 9pm.

This is wheelchair accessible from the back lane

If you need more information about sensory accessibility needs, get in touch. The organisers are aiming to make this event as accessible and as welcoming for all disabled people.

Free entry, and you can buy dinner and drinks on the night. You also have to register to attend.
