The good folk at Lake Haven Library on the Central Coast are hosting a School Holiday Program on Thursday, 17 July 2025. It's a Fantasy RPG Escape Room designed for little legends aged between five and seven who reckon they're ready to save the world, or at least a small part of it. Your mini adventurer will join an adventuring party, role play their way through a guided challenge, and tackle quests and puzzles all with the noble aim of protecting the imaginary realm. It sounds like a pretty good way to ensure the universe is safe before lunch.

For those eager to embark on this epic quest, there are two chances to join the fun. One session kicks off at 10:30 AM and wraps up by 11:15 AM, and then there's a second opportunity for glory from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM. It'll cost you a modest eight dollars per child, which is frankly a bit of a bargain for the amount of world saving involved. Just a friendly heads up, you'll definitely need to book a spot beforehand. These things tend to fill up quicker than a dragon can hoard its treasure, so don't dawdle. Expect a healthy dose of storytelling, a few brain tickling puzzles to solve, and hopefully some admirable teamwork without too much bickering over who gets to wield the imaginary sword.
