Bateau Bay Library is cooking up a crafty session for those aged 8 to 12 on Wednesday, 16 July 2025. From 10:00 AM until noon, young artists will be diving into making their very own custom tote bag and a rather clever 3D hot chocolate paper cup. It sounds like a ripper way to beat the winter chill, getting hands on with some creative fun without having to brave the elements.

Just a friendly heads-up, these spots are usually snapped up quicker than a sausage roll at a footy match, so you'll definitely need to book your child in. Tickets become available from 23 June and will set you back eight dollars per kid. It's a small price for a couple of hours of focused, creative shenanigans, and they'll even have some unique handmade treasures to show off afterwards.
