September heralds the arrival of spring, and with it, a chance for renewal and sustainability. Sustainability and the future are hot topics right now, and they are coming together on the Central Coast at the
Sustainable Future Festival .
This free community event at Memorial Park in the Entrance is spread across two days – the first day is Friday the 13th of September from 8.30am until 2.30pm, which is the school education day. This will be followed by the main event on the 14th of September from 9am until 5pm. Come to celebrate living sustainably on the Central Coast, on the lands of the Darkinjung people. The Sustainable Future Festival is an annual event, and during the two days, there will be workshops, demonstrations, speakers, performances and markets that focus on the management of resources, reduction of waste, recycling as well as how to live a more sustainable future.
