The Lakes Festival celebrates the water and community in a series of vibrant events across ten days in November. One of these events is The Wonders of the Water event . 2024 is the second year it is running, and The Wonders of the Water celebrates water through the arts. This event is presented by Heartdancers, Like Minds, and Plastic Free Avoca, and it is all going to be part of the Lakes Festival.

Come along to this free, family-friendly community event and see water and its importance highlighted through creativity, culture and connection which will be taking place beneath the full moon as it illuminates Avoca Lake, you can come and see:


All ages are welcome at this event, and you can buy food and drinks at the site. It will take place whether it is sunny or rainy as well. It runs from 4pm until 8pm at Like Minds, The Round Drive, Avoca Beach.
