On 26 January 2026, Memorial Park at 46 Marine Parade in The Entrance is hosting a laid-back Australia Day gathering for locals and families on the Central Coast. Picture this: live tunes, the absurdly entertaining koala races where the wildlife takes centre stage at a snail's pace, and plenty of sensory play plus craft stations to keep the kids busy without costing a cent.

You'll also find food vendors dishing out bites and more music floating around in that classic festive but low-key vibe, all free entry so no excuses for missing the quirky fun if you're nearby.
