A classic streamliner CLF Class diesel-electric locomotive will pull the Hawkesbury River Picnic Train from Maitland to Brooklyn as you celebrate Australia Day.
From Maitland in the Hunter Valley, a busy four-track line will take you to Broadmeadow, where you may also board a train. Your route then travels along the 'Short North' main line, stopping at Gosford, Woy Woy, and Hawkesbury River stations. After reaching Brooklyn (Hawkesbury River), you will have plenty of time to see this beach town's splendors. While there, you might want to visit Dangar Island or take a riverboat.
All ticketing choices adhere to NSW Covid-Safe guidelines and are ideal for families, small parties, and couples. Private Compartments (ideal for large families or social gatherings) and Duo seats for two are available as fare alternatives. Additionally, you have the choice of leasing a full carriage.
