Get ready to dig into some dirt on February 22nd because Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture, or SEEAG for short, is throwing a free farm tour you won't want to miss. From 9 to 11 a.m., Plantel Nurseries will open its doors and let you peek behind the curtain (or in this case, the greenhouse) at how they churn out a staggering one billion vegetable seedlings every year on a whopping 36,000 acres. Who knew plants needed so much space to grow? You'll get to see the whole shebang and maybe even learn a thing or two about how fancy tech is making farming cooler than ever.

The event is family-friendly, so feel free to bring along the kids or anyone else who's keen to get their hands a little dirty. Plus, they'll be serving up some delicious coffee, pastries, and fruit to fuel your farm explorations. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, each guest gets to take home some seedlings of their own. That's right, you can be a proud plant parent and try your hand at growing your own veggies. So come along for a morning of fun and get ready to say hello to your future garden buddies.
