On 6 September 2025 the Plant Lovers Fair takes place at Kariong Mountains High School. There will be plant stalls, gardening workshops and talks from people who actually know what they are talking about, so bring your questions and a reasonable amount of curiosity. You can expect native species, some rarer finds and growers who are far too enthusiastic about soil pH.

It's an easygoing, family friendly kind of day for anyone who likes greenery, naming their succulents or just pretending they know the difference between a fern and a really ambitious weed. If you want to meet the growers and hear a bit of horticultural gossip while you wander, this is the place to do it.
