From 5 December to 24 December, the Gallery Container at Toukley Village Green hosts a no-fuss Santa setup where families can snag free photos with the jolly fellow from 9am to 4pm and drop kids letters straight into his makeshift postbox. Think Santa minus the shopping centre scrum.

Its the sort of gentle gig that suits pint-sized believers who bolt at the sight of tinsel overload, or anyone after a slice of Christmas without the full silly season meltdown.
