If youre around the Central Coast for Australia Day weekend, theres a Northern Soul and Motown shindig happening at Central Coast Leagues Club on 1 Dane Drive in Gosford from 23 to 25 January 2026. Expect DJs spinning those classic tracks, plenty of room to bust out your best retro dance moves, and a whole lot of nostalgia in the air without any of the modern pretensions.

Its the kind of laidback event that suits older families and anyone whos ever secretly wished platform shoes would make a comeback, though thankfully they havent. Tickets are required, so dont turn up emptyhanded expecting to bluff your way in with a dodgy accent.
