Terrigal Beach puts on these sunset picnics through February as part of the Central Coasts laidback summer scene, complete with local tunes from bands you might recognise from the pub, food stalls flogging beach bites, and enough family antics to keep the kids from burying each other in the sand. Its all free and dead casual, so you can rock up with a blanket, chuck a few beach games around, and soak in the sunset strolls without anyone judging your picnic spread of Tim Tams and whatever else you rustled up.

These things pop up regularly from the early 2020s right through to 2026, so for the one on 20 February, keep an eye on local listings closer to the date for the exact music acts and any lastminute surprises like rogue seagulls eyeing your chips.
