If youre around the Central Coast on Saturday, 15 November 2025, the Sustainable Future Festival is popping up again at Memorial Park in The Entrance, NSW 2261. Its kicking off from 10 am to 3 pm as part of The Lakes Festival, and its all free, so no excuses for skipping out on a bit of eco-friendly fun. Think workshops where you can turn old junk into something useful, or up-cycling sessions that might just save your sock drawer from total chaos.

The whole thing zeroes in on sustainability without getting too preachy, with kids activities to keep the little ones entertained and live talks that could spark a few lightbulb moments. Its a laid-back way to spend a few hours pondering the planets future, or at least pretending to while munching on whatever snacks theyve got going.
